Tessa organises and runs workshops for practitioners and organisations, including for Sue Ryder Care.
The example below - Coping with Challenging Clients: Managing Challenging Consultations - gives more detail on just one possible workshop which can be adapted to suit your organisation's particular needs.
During a consultation there are many challenges for us as homeopaths – not only the need to find the simillimum for our patients. Each time we reflect on the dynamic of a consultation we can learn more about ourselves, about our patients and about how to manage future challenges. This one day workshop will challenge us to consider what goes on for us during the consultation and how we can manage these challenges professionally and healthily so that we can support our patients and also ourselves.
During the workshop we will use exercises and case studies to explore and learn from our own and other homeopaths’ experience. Sometimes there is more than one answer and to know that can be reassuring, especially when we so often work alone. Come and share your experience and learn from other homeopaths, to build a stronger and healthier practice.
Tessa is also available to give presentations or talks. She is an experienced presenter and has taught both in English and in German over many years. Tessa has offered workshops and seminars for the Society of Homeopaths and for Bach conferences with great success.
Topics for the workshops include -
- Homeopathy
- Bach flower remedies
- Stress Management and Relaxation
- Coping with a diagnosis of MS
- What is Continuing Professional Development?
- Professional Boundaries and how to hold them
- Getting to the core of the case
- Working with Survivors of Abuse
- Coping with Challenging Clients: Managing Challenging Consultations
- Resilience Workshops for Carers (currently organised with Sue Ryder Care and Suffolk Family Carers)
